They call him Mr. College Football and for good reason. Tony Barnhart is SEC Football and he's live each week on 104-5 The Zone. A native of Union Point, Ga., Barnhart began his newspaper career in June of 1976 at the Union (S.C.) Daily Times, and in March of 1977, he joined the Greensboro (N.C.) News & Record, where he remained until joining the staff of the Journal-Constitution in 1984. Besides his newspaper, radio and television work, Barnhart has written several books, including Southern Fried Football: The History, Passion and Glory of the Great Southern Game, What It Means To Be A Bulldog, and his latest, Vince Dooley: My 40 Years at Georgia.
David Climer: Afternoons With George & Willy
David Climer has been covering sports for The Tennessean for 30 years, including the last 13 years as a columnist. He's written about everything from the Olympics to the Super Bowl to a frisbee golf tournament. "My biggest fear is that some day I'll have to get a real job," Climer said. Climer brings his unique perspective to SEC and middle Tennessee sports afternoons on 104-5 The Zone.

John McClain: Middays Tuesday & Afternoons With George Plaster
He's nicknamed "The Commissioner" and he governs NFL coverage for the Houston Chronicle. For the last half-dozen years, John McClain's been a staple of 104-5 The Zone's pro football coverage as well. A graduate of Baylor University in 1975, McClain has covered the National Football League for 30 years. A popular and widely-respected sports journalist, he began his career with the Waco (TX) Tribune-Herald. He joined the Houston Chronicle staff in 1976 and in 1977 covered his first Houston Oilers' training camp. McClain is a past president of the PFWA, and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee. He also serves on the Hall of Fame's nine-member Seniors Selection Committee that considers candidates whose careers have been over for at least 25 years, and is a member of the Texas Sports Hall of Fame Selection Committee.

Will Perdue On The NBA
Will Perdue, no stranger to the Nashville area because of his Vanderbilt roots, serves as the NBA analyst each Friday throughout the basketball season on 104-5 The Zone's Sports Zone. Perdue is best known in the NBA circuit as a member of the Chicago Bulls' three consecutive NBA championship teams in 1991, 1992 and 1993. Originally drafted by Chicago with the 11th overall pick in the 1988 Draft, Perdue registered his 3,500th career rebound, 500th assist and 200th steal during the 1997-98 season. Perdue appeared in 93 career NBA playoff games, averaging 3.8 ppg and 3.7 rpg.
Jayson Stark In The Zone Mondays
Jayson Stark is a senior baseball writer for ESPN.com, writing several columns a week, including Friday's Week in Review and Saturday's Rumblings and Grumblings. Jim Wyatt: Middays Tuesday
Jim Wyatt is in his 11th year covering the Titans for The Tennessean, including the past nine seasons as the team’s beat writer. Wyatt was recently named the 2007 Sports Writer of the Year in the state of Tennessee by the National Sportscasters and Sports Writers Association, an award he also won in '03 and '06. Wyatt authored "Tales from the Titans Sideline", a collection of stories about the team since arriving in Nashville. Wyatt joins 104-5 The Zone each Tuesday afternoon at 2:00p to discuss the latest with the Titans.
