The Beaker Street Blues Band, based in Nashville, is one-part preservation, two-parts new interpretation. The band performs vintage tunes from many of the early blues masters as well as a few contemporary artists who have been influential in spreading blues to new listeners. The band also performs a few originals in the deep southern and swamp genre and there are plans for a recording project in the future. The five piece rhythm section is complemented by two horns. Vocal styles are supplied by every member of the band, as needed, and the group has been steadily building a following in local clubs. These guys have the experience, chemistry, and chops to find the pocket and deliver the groove.

PCG Nashville Hit Writers Night with AJ Masters, Greg Crowe and Mason Douglas

PCG NashvilleJoin us for Hit Makers Night, brought to us by PCG Nashville– one of the top artist development companies in the nation!
A.J. Masters was raised in Southern California and currently lives on a small farm just outside Nashville, TN with his lovely wife and family. At age 14 he learned to play bass guitar in his older brother’s band. Over the next twenty years, he wrote songs and performed in various bands, duos, and as a soloist. Being both a singer and a songwriter was a very important part of his musical development. AJ signed with an independent record label, Bermuda Dunes Records. Within three years he had 10 charted singles, was voted Independent Male Vocalist of the Year, and was nominated by the Academy of Country Music for New Male Vocalist. He also performed on the New Faces Show with Lyle Lovett, Dwight Yoakum, Keith Whitley and Sweet Hearts of the Rodeo. Some of AJ's songwriting honors include BMI Millionaire Award for "Change My Mind", multi platinum award for "Love Ain't Like That", independent song of the year for "We're Here to Stay", and nominated for a Nammy for "Buffalo". During the early 90's, AJ played accoustic guitar for the great Charlie Rich. These days AJ can be found singing and playing songwriter shows, festivals, and house concerts throughout the country. He can also be heard playing guitar or bass on the road or in the studio with Jennifer Hanson, Ray Scott, Steve Azar, or Charlie Rich Jr. AJ is a lifetime member of NSAI and has written songs recorded by Faith Hill, The Oak Ridge Boys, Randy Travis, Diamond Rio, John Berry, Charlie Rich Jr., Ronna Reeves, Gene Watson, Ray Scott, Zona Jones, Steve Azar, Jo-El Sonnier, Fat Boy, Frazier River Band, Jennifer Hanson, and Georgia Middleman. Along with performing live singer songwriter shows, AJ is also currently producing music for Nash 3 and new Texas artist Scott Vance.

Raised in the heart of the Mississippi Delta, Greg Crowe brings a compelling blend of blues, rock, and country to Music City. Crowe's successes as a songwriter include writing "Lonely and Gone" (Montgomery Gentry), "Little Did I Know" (Sammy Kershaw) "Don't Send The Invitation" (Adam Gregory), Adam's new single "What It Takes" and two cuts on the forthcoming Lonestar record. He also wrote, sang, and produced the official song for The Tennessee Titans Radio Network, "We're Fired Up," and was nominated as a producer for European country music album of the year.

Mason Douglas recently released his debut album, MY WILD HEART, on Rural Rhythm Records.  His debut single, "Anything Can Happen" received numerous accolades, including acclaimed reviewer, Robert K. Oermann of Music Row Magazine, asking "Who is Mason Douglas and where has he been all my life?!  I don't know when I have heard a more accomplished debut single." In between songwriting as a writer at Judy Harris Music, Mason frequently tours and has shared the stage with Vince Gill, Jewel, Trace Adkins, Terri Clark, T. Graham Brown, as well as a host of others.  He is also a popular performer at extremely intimate "house concerts", events that featured Mason in a recent Inside Music Row segment. Recently, after a performance of Mason's song, “People Fall In Love”, legendary WSM DJ, Bill Cody said on-air: “There are those moments, they are rare, but they have what we call the ‘it-factor’ in this studio – the unexplained, the mysterious.  There is just something about them. And THAT was one of them…I mean that sincerely.” Mason Douglas’ new album, MY WILD HEART is available on iTunes as well as www.MasonDouglasMusic.com
