Scouting via NFL Scouts:
“Matt Moore is unproven. He showed some good things last year, but if the Panthers really loved
Thoughts:
The Panthers won’t be expected to do much given the way they got ride of their team of well-known veterans in the offseason. They will rely on their two running backs (Williams and Stewart) and their defense to win games and hope that their inexperience at quarterback won’t lose games for them (Clausen, Moore and Pike). Although head coach John Fox enters the last year of his contract, he’s good at devising a game plan offensively and defensively. However, Fox just might not have the horses for the playoffs, unless the Panthers find three to four young players who emerge as standouts at just the right time.
Prediction: 7-9 (3rd)
