Jonathan Hutton
An 8-year veteran of Tennessee Titans coverage in the mid-south, middle Tennessee native Jonathan Hutton officially joined 104.5 The Zone as co-host of “The Midday 180” in January of 2012.
Hutton previously worked for seven seasons as Network Producer for Titans Radio, joining Mike Keith, Frank Wycheck and Larry Stone in the summer of 2005 as a participant in the network's Internship program. He quickly showed an ability to go beyond the obvious stories and a knack for interviewing. Hutton helped shape the themes heard in the award-winning pregame show "Titans Countdown" each week, as well as the stories covered at TitansRadio.Com.
His coverage goes beyond just the Titans, as he was the only Nashville broadcaster to cover Super Bowls XLII, XLIII, XLIV and XLV. His interviews included Hall of Famers Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and Jim Brown as well as media greats Bob Costas, John Madden and Al Michaels. He has also attended the NFL Combine since 2007, various college Pro Days and the NFL Draft each year.
Hutton has been recognized for his work, accepting the 2010 "Achievement in Radio Award" for Best Sports Reporter in Nashville. Hutton was also at the center of helping shape the content that delivered TitansRadio.Com another award for its coverage, the 2008 AIR Award for best radio website. While at college Hutton worked with Rivals.com to publish its recruiting website for Middle Tennessee athletics, GoMiddle.com.
A McMinnville native and graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Hutton fostered his interest in broadcasting working with WOWC in McMinnville. He developed his broadcasting skills by becoming the guest host for sports talk shows and working with high school and college football coverage on 104.5 The Zone.
Hutton is single and resides in Murfreesboro.
